Yes Travel & Events Consultants Sdn Bhd, now known as Yes Travel, was incorporated on 7 November 2008 by our Promoter, substantial shareholder, and Chief Executive Officer, Angela Mak Shau Kwan. We began our journey by providing event planning and management solutions for corporate events, including team-building programmes, corporate training, conferences, and annual general meetings. During our early stage, we briefly operated remotely while setting up our office at a rented shop lot in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
As demand grew for customised incentive travel solutions, our Group obtained a travel agency licence from MOTAC through Yes Travel. This enabled us to expand our services into domestic tourism and travel agency operations. We initially offered incentive travel solutions to domestic destinations and later expanded to include overseas destinations.
To support our growth, we initiated operational streamlining efforts to standardise processes and enhance knowledge sharing within our team. As part of this initiative, we developed structured policies and procedures in preparation for our ISO application.
As our business expanded, we relocated our operations to a shop lot unit (Lot 52) we acquired in Sungai Besi, which remain as our Headquarters to-date, to accommodate our growing team.
Marking a new chapter, we established a larger office and grew to a dynamic team of 35. We broadened our expertise across corporate, incentive, and specialized travel, redefining what group experiences could be.
Following our continuous efforts to improve and standardise our operational processes, our Group successfully obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for the planning, organisation, and coordination of travel services for corporate clients.
We also expanded our headquarters in Sungai Besi by acquiring adjacent office units (Lot 50) to support our growing operations. Today, our 50+ professionals manage diverse corporate and special-interest clients, creating journeys that connect people, ideas, and possibilities.
We acquired Yes Second Home (MM2H) Sdn Bhd on 25 June 2025 as part of our expansion into the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) market. Yes Second Home holds a MOTAC licence to conduct inbound tourism for the MM2H programme, a government initiative aimed at attracting foreign investment, boosting tourism, and supporting Malaysia’s economic growth by encouraging long-term residency among eligible foreigners.
